ZOOlendar: make your ZOO Items available to your readers through a beautiful and simple to use Calendar.
ZOOlendar is module + plugin for ZOO.  The Calendar is working on jQuery UI Datepicker Widget.
 
Features:
- showing the Items from any application, category as highlighted date on the Calendar.
- showing Items based on creation, modification, publication start, publication end dates or use your own custom dates element.
- fully customising the Calendar's style.
- ajax loading through the months and years.
- easy language translation.
- ZOOlendar is used an extended by native ZOO SEF router.

Requirements

ZOOlendar will only work correctly if your setup meets these requirements:

  • Up-to-date version of Joomla 2.5 or 3.x
  • Up-to-date version of YOOtheme ZOO 3.3.x
  • PHP 5.3+
  • MySQL 5+

Important: I can only provide support for setups that:

  • meet the above requirements;
  • do not have extension files or Joomla! core files which have been altered in any way.

    I love the idea. But I'm getting this error when articles are called up:
    Fatal error: Call to undefined method MenuHelper::getActive() in /homepages/15/d121345743/htdocs/pipnjay2012/plugins/system/zoolendar/controllers/zoolendar.php on line 80

    I'm running Joomla 2.5.8 with PHP 5.4.10 and Zoo 2.5.16

      all extensions is compatible with last version of ZOO (currently - 3.0.x). Work of the ZOOlendar with older version of ZOO is not tested and is not warranted. Please, upgrade Your ZOO.

        Thanks for the quick reply! I'm was a full Zoo subscriber when I set up, but am hoping to avoid the expense of updating everything. However, turns out that your extension works fine with the last version I grabbed during my subscription period (2.6.5), apart from the category selection failing to filter by category. That will have to do for now!

          For a create compatibility with your version of ZOO.
          You can change a file - plugins/system/zoolendar/controllers/zoolendar.php on line 80: $itemid = $menu_item; and change module settings (select Menu Item).
          Or write my via e-mail.

    Hi, can we use this plugin to create an event listing from ZOO? We want to create an event listing directory with main structure as a calendar, then, when a user click on items in the calendar, he is redirected to the full item page with full details of the calendar! Is that possible with this plugin please?

      When a user click on items in the calendar, he is redirected to the view like a category or frontpage, not to full item page with full details!
